Educational Outcomes Continue to Improve!

The School District’s Educational Outcomes have Improved over the Past Several Years

The vision of Madison District Public Schools is to be high achieving, premier, small public school system recognized for providing a rigorously challenging and culturally diverse education and meeting each student’s learning needs.  Michigan is one of the lowest performing states teaching 3rd grade students to read. Madison District Public Schools is proving to be one of the best. Madison Elementary School is beating the odds by working with every individual student to give them a plan…and teaching them to read. Madison Elementary was ranked the number 7th school in Oakland County.

When students have the ability to read at a young age, their opportunities for success increase each and every day.  The graduation rate in Michigan high schools in 78%...Madison High School is 99%.  When you can read, you can succeed.  From Madison’s Early Childhood Center to the state of the art Madison Elementary School, Madison Schools are teaching kids to read.  Through hands on experiences through Wilkinson Middle School and Madison High School, we are teaching students how to succeed.  Madison Schools serves every student and wants each child to succeed.  Madison High School’s graduation rate is 99%…20 points higher than the state of Michigan average! Madison meets every student where they are academically and gives them the tools to truly be successful.
